David Simpson: Founder and Chief Executive Officer
David is the Founder and CEO of Melbourne HR. A former Naval Officer, David graduated from the Australian Defence Force Academy with a Double degree Business/Arts Majoring in Economics and Politics and minoring in Management and History. After 9 years of service with the Navy, David joined a HR tech start-up specialising in recruitment. After spending 2 years there David decided to start Melbourne HR to service the Small and Medium Enterprise space.
David specialises in Performance Management (Delivery as well as System Development), Leadership (Development and Mentorship) and Workforce Structures (Designing, Restructuring and Change Management). Having built his own professional services company from the ground up and, having worked in the start-up space, David has a strong ability to provide commercially cognisant advisory to Business Owners and Entrepreneurs.
HR ADVISORS
Nathan Morihovitis
Nathan is a Senior HR Advisor and joined Melbourne HR in 2021, he holds a Bachelor of Business degree with a specialisation in Human Resource Management and has completed a Major in Marketing.
Nathan developed an interest in HR early on through his passion for team building and fostering a positive workplace culture. He enjoys addressing employee relations issues and managing both short-term and long-term HR projects in his daily work.
Nathan leads an active lifestyle by participating in various sports outside of work. The beach serves as his get away place, where he can relax and momentarily escape from the demands of daily life.
Amy Stewart
Amy is a HR Advisor at Melbourne HR. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychological Science and a Masters in Human Resource Management.
Amy’s interest in Human Resources stems from understanding the contribution that mental health plays on employee satisfaction and retention. Amy is passionate about using her broad range of skills and acquired knowledge to increase employee relations and regulate dispute management.
Outside of work, Amy has a passion for exercise and fitness, reading and travel.
HR CONSULTANTS
Nathan Andrews
Nathan is a HR Consultant for Melbourne HR. He has a Bachelor in Business (Sports Management) as well as a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management.
Nathan has a passion for all things people and relationship management, with experience in the Account Management space. He enjoys using his people skills for dispute resolution and wider organisational HR strategy.
Outside of work, Nathan has a love for music, sport, cooking, spending time with mates and getting to the beach whenever he can.
LEGAL ADVISOR
Ensieh Bayat
Ensieh came to Melbourne HR as a graduate lawyer, having completed a Juris Doctor at Monash University. Before joining Melbourne HR, Ensieh enjoyed a diverse range of experiences in Melbourne and Queensland, as a Secondary teacher and a volunteer lawyer at Salvos Legal.
A former Melbourne HR Consultant, Ensieh gained broad-ranging experience during her time at Melbourne HR and has a particular interest in adding value through effective recruitment practices.
Ensieh continues as MHR’s Legal Expert.
MARKETING
Toby Pronstroller
Toby is the Digital Marketing Coordinator for Melbourne HR. Toby has completed his Bachelor of Business (Marketing) at RMIT in 2022, along with an Advanced Diploma in Marketing and Communications.
As a result of being exposed to different creative outlets at an early age, Toby is drawn to the challenge of applying his creative skills in conjunction with his strategic market research skills. At Melbourne HR, he enjoys interacting with the various SMEs across Melbourne.
Outside of work, Toby enjoys making his own personal content for social media and creating music.
